Go Interiors has been accredited as a UK Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2023 for medium size organisations. This is a huge achievement and testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and our unique culture.
The Sunday Times Best Places to Work Survey
The survey spotlights companies that foster engaged and inclusive workplace cultures – where employee happiness and wellbeing is prioritised. In order to be recognised, companies were scored based on anonymous colleague feedback to 35 questions which measure employee experience. The questions covered the Sunday Times six key drivers of engagement; Reward and Recognition, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Pride, Job Satisfaction and Wellbeing. Go Interiors were scored an outstanding overall score of 84%, a whopping 12% above the Construction Industry Standard.
Exceeding Industry Standards
We are proud to have scored ‘excellent’ in each of the six steps to workplace happiness, exceeding the construction industry average in all categories, by up to 14%. In particular, we scored highly in terms of instilling pride in our work, job satisfaction and colleague wellbeing.
A Great Place to Work
We are also proud to have been scored extremely highly in terms of effective business management. This is another area where we exceeded the industry average in all categories, also by up to 14%. Colleagues stated that they feel proud to work for the organisation, they feel valued and have the resources required to do their job well. The business was scored a very favourable NPS score too, meaning our team recommends Go Interiors as a great place for friends and family to work.
Industry Benchmark for Service
“We are committed to creating a workplace where our colleagues are valued, respected and supported, and we are extremely proud that this has been recognised by The Sunday Times. The business received exceptional scores from colleagues stating they have a good relationship with their manager. Furthermore, colleagues said they feel respected and that they have the tools to do the job. We are thrilled to have been scored so highly in these areas.
We believe that fostering a great working culture is essential for creating a happy and productive workforce, which is reflected in the industry benchmark service levels achieved by the business.” – Gerard Abbott-Drake, Business Owner and Director.
