Celebrating Women in Construction: GO Interiors Hosts Day to Remember
At GO Interiors, we are proud to support and celebrate women in the construction industry. Our annual ‘Ladies in Construction’ Christmas Party reflects our commitment to fostering a strong, inclusive community within the sector.
This year’s event, held on Friday, November 29th, was another resounding success! Guests from various sectors within construction came together for a day filled with fun, food, and friendship.
A Festive Day to Remember
The festivities kicked off with a freshly prepared delicious brunch at Bunga Bunga in Covent Garden, where guests enjoyed a festive feast and live entertainment. The day continued at All Bar One, with plenty of laughs, conversations, a buffet, and ‘refreshments’.
Acknowledging the Importance of Women in Construction
Organiser and Dunstable Assistant Branch Manager Rosie Lofting said:
“We’ve had great feedback from everyone who attended, and we’re proud to host this event each year. It’s an honour to recognise the invaluable contributions of women in construction and provide an opportunity to all get together and celebrate our achievements.”
Owner and Director Gerard Abbott-Drake added:
“54% of our team—including sales, head office, manager, and director positions—are women, compared to the industry standard of just 14.7%. We are proud of our culture and committed to fostering an inclusive environment where talented individuals from all backgrounds can thrive.”
Looking Ahead
