BUILDING SLAB

  • A range of rigid and semi-rigid, resilient, rock wool slabs
  • Suitable for wide ranging thermal and acoustic applications
  • Densities range from 45 to 140kg/m3
  • Large selection of thicknesses
  • Thermal conductivity varies with density from 0.035W/mK
  • Earthwool Building Slabs are classified as Euroclass A1
  • Supplied un-faced as standard, but available foil or tissue faced
  • Available in water repellent grade

FLEXI SLAB

  • General purpose thermal and acoustic slab
  • Ideal for timber and metal stud partitions, timber frame walls and suspended timber floors
  • Multi-purpose, flexible, non-combustible, rock wool slab
  • Friction fits between studs, joists and rafters
  • Excellent thermal and acoustic performance

FLOOR SLAB

  • High density rock wool slab for acoustic separating floors
  • 25mm thick, nominal density between 60 and 100 kg/m3
  • Meets Robust Detail floating floor requirements
  • Excellent sound absorption and impact resistance performance.

RAIN SCREEN

  • Semi-rigid, robust, lightweight, non combustible, water repellent, rock mineral wool slab
  • Thermal conductivity of 0.035 W/mK
  • Fire classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN 13501-1, Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame to BS 476:Part 7:1997 and Class ‘O’ to the Building Regulations.
  • Designed to adapt to minor imperfections in substrates

FIRE SOCKS

  • Exceed minimum regulations for concealed wall cavity fire resistance
  • Tested and assessed to provide up to 60 minutes integrity and insulation
  • Unaffected building movement, shrinkage or thermal change
