The Vanguard Self Storage facility, located at BA2 3EH, required robust and reliable passive fire protection to ensure the safety and compliance of its storage units. GO Interiors was delighted to support S&L United Storage, who oversaw the project, by supplying Promat Promatect® 250 boards – a durable, A1 non-combustible board ideal for creating fire-resistant partitions and ceilings. This made it the perfect fit for the Vanguard Self Storage project.
To meet the project’s demands, we supplied 3 artic loads of Promat Promatect® 250 directly to the site. This ensured a seamless and efficient delivery process, allowing the construction team to stay on schedule.
Designed to provide fire protection for structural steel in commercial and industrial buildings, Promat Promatect® 250 is a calcium silicate fire-resistant board offering excellent fire performance. It is lightweight, easy to install, and features a smooth, finish-ready face with a sanded reverse for ease of application. Moisture-resistant and durable, it maintains its performance over time, making it ideal for fire-resistant partitions and ceilings in internal applications. Its exceptional fire resistance ensures compliance with stringent safety standards.
